Clipboard Center App Reviews

Beautiful interface, lots of options

Great clipboard manager app that supports lots of differen’t content types, lets you organise your clips by app, by type and by custom lists. The UI is very sober, uncluttered and customisable to meet any workflow. It can save you time when cutting and pasting small bits of content here and there all day, or help you out when copy pasting lots of data into excel for example. There are too many options to mention in a review, but you can download a 15 day demo which should more than convince you.

Great app.

Fun to use and oh so useful. Invest - you won’t regret it!!

Fantastic! More than pleased!

i’ve been a long time user of CuteClips, however as it wasn’t supported since years anymore i checked around to get-up-to-date friendly clipboard manager and I gladly found Clipboard Center which does it’s job VERY well! Hope this developer won’t let it down too soon! Thanks for creating it! Thumbs UP!

Great app!

I don’t know how long I’ve looked for a decent clipboard app. This one is simple and does it all. ‘Nuff said...

Super useful app

Best pasteboard app. It save text, images, vector paths and more and you can create lists. I highly recommand it to people who look for a Clipboard app!

This is the BEST clipboard manager!

I needed a clipboard manager for handling text in MS Word. I tried SIX before I finally discover Clipboard Center. The ether managers didn’t work reliably, were hard to use, and wouldn’t paste over selection but CLIPBOARD CENTER does it all! It is easy to use, reliable, pastes over selected text, and is there on your menu bar whenever you need it. It works like the clipboard in MS Office for a PC except it holds a limitless number of clips! Don’t bother with the other clipboards, this one is terrific no matter what you use a clipboard for this is the BEST!

last update don’t work

i’ve return to the last version

If keep it simple there are free alternatives, otherwise not ready for use

If keep it simple there are free alternatives, otherwise not ready for use Problems: 1. It didnt remembers windows location. Always goes back attached to menubar tray. 2. Window fade-in animation when attached to menubar icon pretty tiresome. 3. 300 items in history = 300-600 mb memory use and slow UI.

Very good but L&F lacks

I’ve tested a lot of Clipboard Managers but this one is the best I’ve found so far. The list-by-app feature is awesome. The worst thing is the non-native look and feel: I would prefer a more cocoa look and feel like any other application; move to that L&F and you will get 5 stars.

Very nicely done for v 1.0

Clip center is done very well but I would like to see the window more expandable (longer and thinner). Id like to be able to have the clip center run on the entire right hand side of my desktop like notification center. Would like to see the option of one click paste or at least copy so that when editing a document, I have more options to paste items in a list rather than just drag and drop. I would recommend the app. It seems to be the best avaible for copy management.

Misrepresenting It Features

I paid seven dollars for the picture pasted above because the app itself does not lend itself to the format in picture. I then had to do what I should have done in the first instance, which is purchase iClips. I have a big project due Monday, 5:00pm, I needed some heavy duty support, which I am getting from iClips. Lesson learned sometimes you just have to fork over $20 to get the best. I thought it was too gaudy but once I positioned it at the top of computer, bingo. It fit my 27 inch screen and looks good. Consumers can make the bins small, medium or large. I just "love it" if loving an app is possible. Long story short, I spent almost 30 dollars for an app/function that should have cost me only twenty bucks. My bad. Brenda Little

Nice

Glad this app is being actively developed and supported as its one of the better clipboard utilities.

Simple and super useful.

It’s awesome! I was afraid to get it at first, since nobody else had reviewed it, but definitely worth the $5 I spent on it. I’ve been looking for a clipboard manager for quite some time, and this one is perfect. It’s never in the way, it’s modern, and just works well without all the other bloated features a lot of other cliboard managers have.

My new favorite clipboard app!

I have installed many clipboard apps over the years and this is the best one for my use case. I would suggest you install the add-on from the developers website.

Most basic & essential feature MISSING

Wow. Huge oversight by the developer. When I click the icon in the menu bar, Clipboard Center appears. Thats as expected. But when I click on an item in the list of previously-copied items, that item simply stays highlighted. It does NOT close Clipboard Center and PASTE THE ITEM. That means I have to click back to the window Im in and then paste, either via the keyboard or the Edit menu. HUGE waste of time. If this critical feature (click to paste) is added in as the default behavior, or at least a preference is added to turn this feature on, then I will raise my one-star rating to a 5-star.

Saved me a few times

I”ve purchased other apps from this developer so I decided to download a trial version of Clipboard Center from the developer’s website. Didn’t think it would be very helpful. I was wrong! After it saved me a third time, I purchased it. Ways to get the text from the clipboard into the document your are working in: Drop and Drag Copy and paste Click on text in clipboard; a paste button will appear; click on the paste button I was initially confused as the paste button functionality was available in the trial version but not the iTunes store version. After quitting the app and restarting it, the paste button functionality returned.

Terrific… one minor improvement would have me giving it five stars!

Ive used this over and over and over again… many times daily for dragging in frequently used text when on Flickr (managing user groups there) and so forth. The one improvement Id like to see is maybe two??? The Clipboard center window must be alongside whatever window Im putting text into in order to drag, drop without first making CC the active window and then going back to the app and making the app active in order to execute whatever after dragging/dropping. IF the CC window is overlapping my web browser, when I click on the text I want to drag into a comment field for example, then CC becomes active and I have to return to the web browser window by clicking twice in it in order to register my comment. Aside from that, I dont know how I lived without this app before! Cheers and thanks a bunch!!!

Great app - lots of features

This is the only clipboard app I found that lets me keep the clipboard open so that I could paste from multiple ‘copies’. Response to my inquiry was quick too.

Can’t figure out how to use it, frustrating. have to log into the support site, which is annoying

might like it if I can figure out how to use it.

Great start

Clipboard managers should be simple and unobtrusive, yet do their job and do it well, so you can quickly grab something you copied before. Although it has some quirks (which is not necessarily due to bugs in this app, but bugs in other apps it may interact with), this app fits the bill. I like the fact that you can easily manage what the app captured, organize clips in lists for future reference, and keep clips between sessions. Very responsive developer too (I had an issue with what I considered to be some odd behavior, and got a response and an explanation in less than 24 hours). Recommended.
